  The Thon Hotel Gyldenlove is just 10 minutes on foot to the centre. The staff were very nice. The breakfast is very good. There is a big choice: ham, cheese, sausages, bacon, eggs, scralmbled eggs, jams, very good bread, fruits, yoghurts etc. The room is comfortable and the bed is very comfortable. Our corner room was lovely, with space for four: mom and three 15-year old girls. Big TV and Kitchen. Right around the corner there is a shop open 7-23 and 10 meters further a shop open all night. on 2 min walking distance to the busstop to the center. Nice and safe neighboorhood. Pharmacy around the corner. Some shops in the neighbouring streets. 307 is a large studio in olive and purple with unique old stove. 412 is "large hotelroom size" with green/ brown colors, and a balcony.

  Good central location, easy to walk to all attractions from the hotel. The rooms were basic and small but clean and the bed was comfortable. For the price in Oslo it was excellent value for money. WIFI was fast. Our room was so clean and comfortable 638. We stayed from Friday to Sunday and then went to Porsgrunn. Thanks for a wonderful stay - so friendly and welcoming, Will be back! xx
