You won't get the comfort of five stars hotel there. But I think it's a combination of landscape and solitude that gives the place a touch of magic. Don't make just a one night stop as we did passing through. As soon as you leave you'll feel sorry you did. If I could give you some advice, that's what we would do: 1. Book for a week. 2. Don't make any plans, just flow with the stream and enjoy your moments.

Without would it be difficult to get out to Sveggvika. Unique location in a remote corner of Averøy Island, next to the ocean, with a wonderful view. The cabins are very well equipped, the staff was very friendly, WiFi was good, beds were comfortable. Outstanding location. Excellent staff and management. Good for a small family. Pretty good functional kitchen. Clean linen. Canoes available on site. Superb wifi. It is beautiful seaside and peaceful place to consume vocation. We asked for a were given a lot of info by a friendly reception. We also asked for extra utensils and these arrived very promptly. Excellent views from the cottages. Lovely walks in the neighbourhood. Remember to carry linen and toiletries. Facilities in the room, view and quite. Value for money. Minor technical flaws but no big deal. What we regretted the most is having to leave after just one night because of tight schedule. We'll definitely stay longer next time !. A bit difficult to locate but they said they were working on improving directions signage. The exterior could do with a little renovation. a little small for 4 person stay. Environment is perfect for some day hikes, not yet fully developed though, but that's part of the charm as well. access is not easy,at the end of a dirt track,signage could be improved stairs are very steep - be careful with smaller kids. Beds weren't super comfy - furniture a bit old but good enough. None. The bedrooms were upstairs and the staircase rather steep for oldies like us. There was not enough of cooking utensils and they were not very clean. The bedrooms were on the upper floor while the toilet was below. The stairs are pretty steep and a bit of a problem if you have small children or senior citizens along. The bed is terribly uncomfortable and noisy. The charge for bed linen was exaggerated. Location was not well directed. Internet wasn't working.
