The location was superb, right next to the waterfront and shopping. Facilities in the room were extensive and I wanted for nothing. The staff on check in were lovely and when I requested towels (none were provided initially but I assume that was because I'd checked in 2 hours early) she sent some uip immediately. Very happy with my stay and I will be back. We chose the apartment because we wanted to be able to self cater. Also it was very close to where we would be working. The location is great - all that the CBD has to offer with easy access to the waterfront. We were impressed (and relieved) that the receptionist had made arrangements for us to collect the key as we arrived late due to a delayed flight.
todos opiniões » The staff were really personable, friendly and interested in what we were doing in town. The apartment was compact but well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the linen was good quality. Beautifully lit room (unlike so many hotel rooms that are inadequately lit). This had lots of light options and dimmers if you wanted it less bright. Well equipped studio. Helpful service. The quilt on the bed was filthy and the power plug switch in the bathroom was covered in dirt/blood. Otherwise I was very happy. I noted that there was no heat pump and only a column heater for warmth. Although this was sufficient, I would be very hot in the summer without aircon. There was an unpleasant smell of cooking from Juniper downstairs when the window was opened. Not Quests fault but it was warm and we needed open windows. Another couple of pillows would be good for people who usually sleep with two. The couch needed cushions as it was quite deep and soft. Put some salt and pepper paper condiments in the room in addition to sugar, coffee etc. Wardrobes weren't long enough to hang a pair of trousers. (Only had shirt room). Tiny amount of bathroom shelf space. always want cheaper prices. A very wobbly table. Pictures in metal frames and glass covers above the bed, on one hook only, and not secured. As earthquake sensitive Christchurch visitors we immediately took the pictures down. 10am check out. Expensive parking. High pillows and hard...soften up a bit for at least one pillow!~I had a sore neck next morn. * I didn't like the way the building swayed in the wind * I didn't like the rock hard bed. 2 male staff members gave me no help with my luggage. I am a lady of mature years and had to struggle with 4 large suitcases whiles husband parked the car. Car parking charges were exorbitant. Low quality. Very hot in room, poor air circulation even when window was open. The staff had no idea whst was going on. Amenities lacking, not very comfortable, staff unfriendly @ times, staff not too knowledgeable about surrounding area.
