  owner operator is an engaging and warm individual!....even helped me find a (free) parking space!!!....and made me a pot of tea...as i came in on a cold night.....I was happy to sit and relax in the cozy kitchen after the ferry boat ride in from Terscheling. Great Breakfast...pay the extra amount for it!!!! This is a perfect stop! It's a very old warehouse that has been nicely renovated by the owner. Harlingen is a charming port city and this was a great location, a short walk from everything. Owner was very friendly.

  Extremely friendly place =) The owners were very nice,they made a hotel by themselves so it was very cozy, warm and it had a lot of places to enjoy the nature.   We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at De Tuinkamer. Our hostess, Joke, was very welcoming, friendly & informative. The position of her home is superb - right in the centre of one of the most pretty little towns in The Netherlands. Her home was exceptionally clean, and breakfast was excellent.
