  After I finally found it and managed to climb up the very steep stairs I was rewarded with a very clean allergy-friendly room, a great view, beautiful art nouveu windows and a rooftop terrasse. You can walk to the cit - An excellent option to stay in Amsterdam for a day or two. Just 10 minutes from the central station. But there are no crowds of tourists. Fresh air and romance. Healthy breakfast, clean cabin, toilet and shower room. Great staff. The girl is always ready to answer any questions of visitors. The hotel is for those who are not afraid of pitching sea.)))) Since it is a docked boat it is also very quiet. Don't forget it is a boat cabin what you will get.   Everything was very good. Comfortable rooms, clean and cosy hotel, really not far from railway station. Personal is very friendly, I have only best ratings for their work. - The cleanliness, location & concept. En suite bathroom. Breakfast and the staff. Would definitely come back to Hotelboat Iris.

  We slept on a boat - what else can I say? :) Very friendly staff (father and daughter), they helped us with all our questions. Of course the rooms are a bit small (and so was the bathroom), but this was to be expected on a boat. We really loved that it was so well located, everything is reachable by foot. I would highly recommend it for a special Amsterdam-trip. :) - Fantastic location, very friendly staff, and great value for money. Cheapest room with ensuite in Amsterdam!   It was my first visit to Amsterdam. The boat is next to the centrall station (10 minutes walking) in a really quiet dock! We were living at 4:00 in the morning and they made us an early breakfast. - Very interesting as we'd never stayed on a boat only a big ship!
