  Location excellent. Clear instructions how to get there. Party of 5 adults not easy to find suitable accommodation but this was good. Apartment was well equipped for our purposes. - Excellent location and nice flat. Comfortable beds and kitchen. Enough space for 5 people.

  I have been in this apartment twice and is very comfortable. If I will go again in Amsterdam I will reserve again this hotel, the location is good and you have to take only the tram number.1 to go to the center. - I liked the way our 4 apartments were all next door to each other. There was a good area close by just a 10 minute walk.

  We stayed in one of the Penthouse rooms in the Grand Hotel Downtown with a shared roof terrace that offered spectacular views across Amsterdam. The room was very comfortable and quiet with a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities (often not provided in Hotels in Europe). The Hotel is very conveniently placed for exploring the city. We were keen to find a Hotel with secure, reasonably priced on-site parking and the Gr - The hotel itself is very new. Everything in the room was immaculate, and came with free coffee and tea. The bathroom was heated (a luxury in the winter!) The wifi was very fast, and useful. The building is very cool, and has many hip restaurants surrounding it. It´s location is perfect for those who don´t want to be in the busiest part of the city. It´s about a 10 minute walk to the very center, and a 25 minute walk to the train station.   Loved the place! What's not to like? Don't understand the negative reviews. It is right on the canal, the view from my 2-d floor room was fantastic. It took me a little bit over an hour to get to the hotel from the airport - so easy to get to and to find. Tram #4 stops right on the bridge in front of the hotel and goes to and from the Central Sta... o que as pessoas dizem » tion - and there is a train that connects it with the airport. The room is very basic, but enough for a quick tour of the city (I stayed less than 24 - The host was great, he helped us with our bags and was really friendly. We actually had some changes to our room arrangements but we managed to come to an agreement regarding the payment so we appreciated the flexibility. Breakfast was normal, we didn't try everything though, but it was good enough for us. We got a room for 4 and it was spacious with wide windows which created a nice effect when the sun comes in during the day. We had a view of one of the canals which was lovely. The beds were

There was a great view of the river Amstel from the apartment windows with all the boats passing by at regular intervals.
