  Good place with good comunication to the city center (2 stops to Flower Market, 4 stops to Dam Square) and to train and bus stations (Central and Amstel).   We arrived at around 10am (check-in not til 2pm) & we were allowed to go to our room almost straight away, which was brilliant as we were so tired after being awake since 3am UK time. The room was perfect! The highest ceilings ever, and amazing black-out curtains so we could catch up on sleep when it was really light outside. Highly recommended.

  I thought Hotel Ajax was a fantastic place to stay, Always had clean towels and sheets + toilet was cleaned regular within the 5 days i stayed here. Staff were extremely friendly...... From other reviews i had came across saying infested with rats and all that other complete bull that is all lies. Would stay here again, value for money.   The staff was wonderful. Our refridgerator had a problem but they came within minutes to correct. We blew a fuse at 5 in the morning and again there in minutes to fix. Access to the hotel facilities was great too. But the staff is fantastic. There to help you and so friendly. Loved it. - Location and luxury

  The hotel was in perfect location to explore Amsterdam, just around the corner from either Prisengracht or Keisergracht tram station and about 5 minutes walk into the very busy Leidsplein. We loved our stay here in Amsterdam.
