  We stayed in the basic room. Though very small, it was very well equiped, nothing was missing, from hair dryer to coffee facilities. The view was very nice, right on the Amstel river, giving you the sensation you were actually floating. Mirjiam was very nice, delivering breakfast every morning to our room. It was very clean and cosy. There was no reception, so you were on - Stayed in the suite - nicely decorated, tons of kitchen tools, two 2 piece bathrooms, lovely continental breakfasts each day and hosts that were very friendly and eager to please. The host also provided a ton of detailed directions for us before our arrival. They were also very responsive to our emails and texts.

  We booked the Guest-Houseboat for our 12th anniversary because we wanted to stay somewhere special and it certainly exceeded our expectations! We've visited Amsterdam many times before, but we felt that staying here gave us a completely different perspective on this beautiful city. Paul was an excellent host. When we arri - I have never stayed in a houseboat before. I was not disappointed. It was a great apparment on the canal. Great view through the large windows. Excellent facilities. Very comfortable bed, good kichenette and excellent bathroom. Close to everything, shops, resaurants, but not noisy - just the right balance. I was on a business trip, but plan to go back in the Spring with my wife. Paul and Patricia were terrific in helping out and providing advice. Great service!

Since it is a docked boat it is also very quiet. Don't forget it is a boat cabin what you will get.   I loved the whole idea of staying on a ship. The location was great as well, just a 5-10 minute walk to the Central Station area. The rate included breakfast which was good, I just wish it started a little earlier because we wanted to get out of the city to head home as early as possible.
