It was far enough away from the center of Haarlem for privacy but close enough to walk to. I liked the breakfast bonus of being included in the hotel rate. Five Star Delight
We have just returned from the best stay we have ever had in Haarlem. When you make a hotel booking you read the reviews, the pros and cons, and then make your choice. We choose “Bed and Breakfast L'Anders”. This is a small 4 bedroom place with the rooms above the restaurant facing onto the beautiful square.

We had the most pleasant experience and never wanted to leave but had
already made arrangements to move on. The room was spacious and very
comfortable. We were given the room that overlooked the center and It
was discussed that if we were to return we would stay for an extended
time. You can take the public transportation to the surrounding cities
if you wish to. What a wonderful experience we had. We would like to
thank all the people there that welcomed us and treated us like family.

I loved its postion and our room overlooked the Church of St Bavo's. My 86 year old mother was enthralled and had never in her life stayed some-wehre like this. We liked the fact that this is a really historic building, with splendid views. Very comfortable beds, great shower, wonderful B & O sound system. The location was great. The owner took time to tell us about the building, and helped us get a free parking space. Very helpful with any queries we had.

The Hotel Malts' breakfast is a real treat too so I recommend you enjoy it for at least one morning. And the beds are very comfortable!
