It's like staying at the house where they filmed Girl with the Pearl Earring. The location is great. The house is historic. Park on the street and pay the cost at the parking meter.
While the staff was very friendly, they didn't know where to park or how to use the credit card machine, so we had to pay cash. If you have any accessibility issues, don't stay here, the stairs are really scary if you have any issues.

The bathroom could really need some renovation. The bicycles offered were a desaster (and 5 Euro/day), better throw them on the waste immediately.Rented one somewhere else to be safe with working brakes etc.
The ambience of the Baronie B&B is its biggest asset. It is a wonderful old Dutch canal house, with several floors and stairs to conquer, but worth the climb to the room at the top. The location in the centre of Amsterdam is great; you are in the middle of the old town.
I would have preferred nice white linnen sheets on my bed instead of slippery satin ones. It is curious to rent a room with a kitchen, but read in the house rules that no food is to be brought up to the room.
The location
On our arrival we were very lucky that we had found owner at home,because that was the first and last time that we talked to him.the room was very dirty,the toalet is outside the room,everything is in very bad shape,especialy the bathroom! The stairs are very steep so you must be very carefuly when you get down... Never again!!
