  it is such a beautiful place to stay, the lovely owner has taken such care to make every detail beautifully uniqur. i like that the rooms are all individually designed. its a nice quiet place to stay, and in such a great location buried inside the old medina. the roof is a lovely place to go, and if we had more time, i would have definitely taken ... o que as pessoas dizem » advantage of the calm above the bustling streets. breakfast was delicious served on the roof in the morning sun. a really lovely place, im looking for - If you want to immerse yourself in the local culture and people then this is for you. Right in the middle of the Medina, fabulous for shopping for ornaments, throws/blankets, cooking tagines, etc. People very friendly, but you have to barter and be prepared to say "no". If you are looking to buy something in particular, ask Rachid at the hotel; he was very helpful and actually took us shopping. Gilles, the owner very welcoming too. Would definitely go back.

Step out the front door and your in the lively medina and yet at night it was very peaceful except for the call the prayer which you would hear all over Tangiers. Our room was great. She gave us a tour of the medina and - What a wonderful find! This hotel is right in the Medina with a great view from the rooftop patio. You're right in the heart of everything, and the building is beautifully decorated. The owner, Sue, really took the time to make us feel at home and comfortable. It's like a boutique hotel- rooms are all small and different, but with lots of charm. The breakfast especially was a treat- the service was great and the food was so good!
