Tthe “Superior Quadruple Room” (the Pacha room if you are looking at the
riad’s website) easily accommodated two married couples (one double bed
and two twin beds that the staff had pushed together) in somewhat
separated/private areas. The room also had a comfortable couch on
which a short person or child could sleep. The common areas of this riad
are among the most intricately, ornately, and opulently decorated (in a
good way) of any in which I have stayed. Lots of hot water. Staff was

The pool is amazing. It is so nice to be able to escape the noise and
the bustle at night and have a beer or a cocktail by this amazing
secluded pool. Especially as a woman it was nice to have a place that
was safe and assessible to have a drink! It's also nice to have a
safe place to park a car. -

It's located in the centre of the souq and you do not expect to meet such a quite accomodation. The roof terrace is unbelievable. You have a perfect view on the medina and can enjoy the atmosphere. The Riad is about 400 years old and if you can have a look into the owners part.

The staff were welcoming and friendly and were always ready to help.
Nothing was too much trouble - a real 'family' feel to the
hotel, although they have 10 rooms I think. The rooms were spotless and
beautifully decorated with a real eye for detail. Location is excellent
- very close to the gates so you don't have to carry your bags far. -

Beautiful hotel. Helpful staff. Excellent location very near Medina, but not in the midst of the ruckus. - It's a new riad and very pretty and unique inside. It's worth to stay there for the experience. It's right next to the medina (old town). All staff were very friendly.

Beautifully restored and decorated riad with a very friendly and helpful housekeeper. Note that the housekeeper has very limited English, but my high school French was sufficient to communicate easily with her. -
It's located in the Medina, but not on the busy part of it. Parking
was easy and took us less than 3 minutes walking to find the Riad.

The hotel was lovely but very hard to find, we wouldn't have found
it if it wasn't for some friendly locals. Food was delicous, the
best food we ate while traveling through Morocco. The staff are very
friendly and helpful they go out of their way to accommodate you. The
locals in the market are all very friendly. The market was amazing the
best we had seen in Morocco, a definate must do.

Oh, Riad Malak, what can I say? I cannot recommend it highly enough. What a truly delightful little home away from home! I went form the ridiculous to the sublime - coming from the worst service I'd ever at in my life (at Tangier's MArco Polo Hotel) to the best I've ever had (at the Malak). Riad Malak was an ideal introduction to Morocco. The Riad is in the heart of the Medina, close to the significant historical monuments of Meknes. The Riad has been lovingly refurbished in traditional Moroccan style and displays the skills of local artisans while, at the same time, catering for Western comfort. The number two guy had to be the happiest individual I've ever encountered in my life.
Meknes was a nice change from Marrakesh. Many fewer tourists and many, many fewer locals trying to separate you from your money.
