the kindness and attention of Eric and Didier, the hotel proprietors,
and all the lovely staff. I went with my two elderly aunts and we had a

From the start, we were made to feel very welcome. Even before we reached the hotel, the owners had worked out that our plane had been delayed (diverted to Agadir because of a sandstorm) and adjusted the evening meal for us.
The ambience of the hotel was very relaxing, with a quiet courtyard and plunge pool for reflection and reading during the heat of the day. Flowers in all the rooms really did add something extra. And the turtles were a star attraction - role models for contemplation.

Wow! where do I start from? We travel every month but this is the place we will go back to just for the sake of this hotel - Dar Anika and its epitome of hospitality. Este Riad foi o ponto máximo da nossa viagem. A afabilidade com que nos receberam Jacques o gerente e Raschida seu braço direito são inigualáveis. Foi como estar em casa. Riad Aloes is perfectly situated in the Medina within easy reach all the markets and main sites. The Riad is quiet, beautiful and clean, a lovely place to relax in the hustle bustle of Marrakech. The breakfast of fresh fruits and croissants or pancakes was delicious. Our bedroom was very comfortable and clean. Olivier couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Marrakech.

The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was great with different meals everyday which was served by the staff. We stayed at the Mata Hari room which was a decent size for two people. The rooms and bathroom were clean. The riad is tastefully decorated. The location is decent - about 10-15 mins walk from the main J'ma El Fna. It felt like a safe location and we walked back to the riad around 10.30 every night with no problems.

The building is great with a traditional riad style. The open terrace was lovely and secluded; perfect for breakfast and sunbathing. The staff were very friendly and offered to arrange tours etc for us. The restaurant was a special treat with gorgeous French cuisine. The location is perfect; close enough to the medina to walk there easily but far enough away to be a quiet retreat.
