  The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Peter sat with us for a long time to introduce us to the area and local customs and gave great advice to go out to Djellabar. Hassan was a warm and lovely host who clearly enjoyed his job. He went the extra mile with us again and again. The riad is also beautifully decorated.   I will make this simple.....if your looking to stay at a Riad in Marrakech stay here! I have stayed in a few Riads in Morocco but for value for money, amazing service, beyond what you will get elsewhere.....thanks John- Pierre and Hisham, you will not do better. The Riad is clean, attractive and comfortable inside. If you don't, want to see the real Morocco, - Jean Pierre (the french owner) and Hisham (the local guy who works for him) looked after us so well when we stayed for them for 5 nights. They gave us advice to make sure we werent totally ripped off by taxi drivers and vendors in the souks ;). Hisham made us more (complementary) Mint teas than we can could count, The rooms were lovely and typically morroccan styled. The best bit though, was the chill out area one the ground floor, perfect for escaping marrakech(which you will need to do). Th

  Friendliness of the team - the young man at reception was very helpful, played with our kid and did his best to make us feel comfortable. Location - 10 min walk away from Jamal el Fna square, but we liked this since we were in a more quiet area and could appreciate the local life as we walked towards the more tourist places. The Riad itself - nice rooms, - Very friendly and helpful staff and they always offered free mint tea, which made us so relaxed. They gave us the map and many tips and information. The location is very convenient to go to the market and landmarks either new town. The room is very tidy and clean so we were so confortable all the times. We definitely come back for the next visit!

  I liked the lovely staff especially Hamid and Amina who were incredible. I was given a beautiful room in another riad owned by the same people as there was a problem with my potential room. I think I was lucky due to this. I was taken to a wonderful nearby place for dinner. Loved it all.

  I first stayed at Riad Chergui in July 2011 on a side trip from some business. I am happy to say that my stay this July, two years later, was just as great. Even better really. I brought my 18-year old son and his reaction was just as mine was in 2011, the Riad is jaw-dropping beautiful. The Riad is an oasis of peace and tranquility in Marrakech; the pool is particularly wonderful. It is well-located and the perfe - Excellent location - an easy walk to everything, yet peaceful enough to relax away from the hubub of the Medina Emmanuelle and all her staff were wonderful and made sure we were well looked after. We got practical advice on where to go, what to go and, importantly, how to haggle. The rooms were spotlessly clean and nicely decorated in local style. The meal we had at the Riad on the night of our arrival actually turned out to be one of the best meals we had in our whole 5-day stay - really good

  This is a comfy and cosy riad with a gorgeous garden and breakfast area in the centre. There is an open roof top area with lovely views. It's clean, safe, close to all the souqs and a short stroll to the square. It's quite and the staff are very sweet.
