  Riad was perfectly located to everything in Essouria. Annie was exceptionally hospitable and friendly and made for a perfect host at Dar el Paco. The Riad itself was wonderful and the room was comfortable and clean with a large kitchen and comfortable dining area for breakfast or reading and chatting to other guests if you wished to do so. Thankyou again Dar el - The hotel is in a perfect location to explore the medina and not far from the beach. It was very easy to find! Our room was clean and beautifully decorated. The power shower was hot which was amazing after a week of cold showers elsewhere. We were made to feel really welcome when we arrived. Would definitely stay again! Essaouira is beautiful and a refreshing change to the craziness of Marrakesh!

  The staff was one of the best I experienced in Morocco--which says a lot if you know anything about Moroccan hospitality. The owner allowed my boyfriend and I to use her personal bathroom and shower at 8 pm at night after we checked out and before our flights. Definitely a "must stay" place here. - A very interesting and bohemian riad in an excellent location right at the edge of the ancient medina on the city walls. It's full of arty things and there is always somewhere new and interesting to rest your eye. Very laid back atmosphere. Great roof terrace with views out to sea and the battlements. Excellent breakfast every day and Isabel the manager is lovely and helpful.

Small but lovely rooms- I would recommend the rooms with sea view. Breakfast on terrassse is great. Main streets, sholing and restaurants all 2-5 min walking distance, but inside very quiet. With car drive directly to teh city walls, there they show you the parking. From Front gate, cross the inner city towards Bab al-Bahr (5 min. walk). Hotel also can arrange a pick up.
