O que as pessoas dizem
Its a cozy place with a small usable pool in the middle of the complex,
it was great for a quick cool or sunning if you didnt want to get in the
sand which was maybe a 100 ft out the door excellent location and if we
wanted to wander on 5th ave it was a mere out the door, the room was
very large made suitable for another couple or person and had fridge and
micro, no stove. Dont expect 5 or 4 star this is not a perfect place but
certainly was excellent value of $60 the exchange was 14% other pla. todos opiniões »
I like the location of this hotel. It is at the corner of 5th Avenue, the main street in Playa del Carmen where all the stores are located. It is also a short distance from the beach. The staff was also great. They helped us with ordering food and gave us directions to places around town. They even spoke English which was a plus as they could understand us and we could understand them easily. A taxi stand is right outside the hotel. It is a little pricey but convenient if you need to go anywher.
For a budget value hotel Vista Caribe was great. It was steps to the beach and quiet at night which was a relief being so close to 5th ave. We had a junior suite next to the pool. The pool is bigger than a lot of other hotels but still quite small however we were always at the beach. ( Ask for a beach towel as we didn't know they had any. )We had a free safe and you could leave items drying outside and nothing went missing. For value/location this place is the best in the area and I will be ba.
Horatio and Saul were great behind the desk. The lady before described it well. We were there 10 days. Roomy space with partial kitchen and eating area and good king size bed and large TV. Mail service good and clean but older rooms. Nice pool but unheated.
location is good as 100 steps to beach. Very convenient to 5th ave. bus station.
Loved the location. Loved the size of the junior suite. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice breakfast at the restaurant next door.
Location was excellent because of its close proximity to the beach and 5th avenue!.
Big room with fridge and microwave. Great for price.
Ideal location near the beach , bus stop, Fusion bar and shops. The size of the rooms is excellent. It is quiet, very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Good location. Room was large. Nice pool. Room was clean.
Reasonable price.
Location.
Hotel was one minute from the beach and right on the main street. It´s convenient to go for shopping in the evening and to restaurant. When you arrive with ADO bus it´s just 5 minutes walk and don´t need any other transportation. Nice place to stay!.
The room was spacious, a full breakfast was included & it was close
to the beach.
Location right on 5th Avenue.
Location and size of room.
Location.
The only negative for us was that the room came with free breakfast next
door it was a bare breakefast of poor quality for $6 start the day of
right go find one u like theres some by the ado bus line that are good
value but you did get a free breakfast.
The top shelf in the room was clearly not clean for some time. Overall, the room was clean but it seemed like it needed a quick freshen up before we checked in.
and were a bit disappointed to not have a coffee maker or small stove but the fridge and microwave worked fine. We had breakfast at the restaurant every morning and ate out most of the time so it wasn't a big deal not to cook in the end.
Next time I would pay in cash as my credit card charged an extra 65$ on the exchange rate even after the 13% tax.
Breakfast incl. but very basic and not high quality. Toast stiff as boards. Beach was great last year but this year wave erosion created many rocks now showing limiting swiming especially for young kids.
Very dirty windows. Old and pretty dirty couch and chairs.
Front desk workers were unfriendly. Did not smile any at all!
There were a lot of Mosquitoes in the Rooms!.
Room a bit worn.
The price we paid in pesos was not the price we booked at in US Dollars. They charged us a conversion rate of 13 pesos to the Dollar which they said was your rate when the rate was 11 pesos to the dollar. This is 18% premium. They didn't offer us the chance to pay the correct rate in $US by credit card. The reception told us it was the policy of booking .com to charge this high rate and that they had no control over it.
Room furniture was old and drab. Bathroom small and out dated. No water
pressure. No hot water in sinks. Was given room in bad location with no
view although many of the rooms with better location and view were
empty. When asking desk clerk about getting better room we were ignored.
We have encountered this problem before when we book with bookin.com. I
believe the hotels save their worst rooms for letsbookhotel.com and other
discount sellers and that is why the prices are lower,.
Damp on the walls.
Breakfast at restaurant near by your hotel. You have only 3 choices and very simple. Either eggs, pancakes or fruit salat (understand cutted one banana and passion fruit) and coffee with juice.
The hotel was quite "tired" and shabby. The shower head was
clogged with calcium deposits so only a trickle of water came out. Our
room overlooked the street, no privacy and very noisy. Would probably
try a different hotel next time.
Bugs in room
A/C did not work, had to spend one night in a sweltering room before changing rooms for the next night.
Very Few English TV stations.
Bathroom facility, shower was cold only, sink and toilet smelt. No
second entrance key provided. Unfriendly receptionist. Poor breakfast.
I did not like the room it was dirty and the shower had mold in it, it
took approx 25 min to get hot water! The staff was sleeping in the lobby
area in the morning. Upon check in they collected 1000. pesco's and
I thought the room was paid for ...so hopefully I will not get anymore
charges. Just not a great place to stay.
