  My husband and I spent 5 days at the Datai. I've stayed in many hotels over the years but I can honestly say, that I enjoyed my stay at the Datai more than any other hotel I've ever stayed in. I felt a sense of peace being close to nature and the sea. All the staff were wonderful and couldnt do enough to make our stay comfortable.   Best Seven motel was very nice. The Owner and his wife where very helpful with everything, they made our first visit to Langkawi memorable. The rooms where very clean and there was a steaming hot shower that was also very clean. Besides the good service of t - Stay in this motel was so convenient as we could have our hair wash at the ground floor. And if we are hungry, the restaurant is just next to the saloon. The rental is quite reasonable. We might be staying in this hotel again whenever we travel to langkawi.

  Everything is great - friendly staff, adequately sized rooms, great for business events, easily accessible from the toll exit. Above average and will definitely come again.   Beautifully appointed room, in a very serene setting. The fabulous pool with perfect temperature and gorgeous view is perfect for relaxing in the afternoon. The staff were really helpful, even letting us have use of a room after check out (as we had a late flight) staff. I loved that there were cats everywhere! Facilities were excellent, staff was extremely courteous and helpful. We liked the furry cats running around the place, our lil one year old liked playing with them. Very homely feel to the room we stayed in. Bathroom was huge and the wooden bath tub was quaint. We loved the fruit and cakes that they stocked daily in our fridge.

I have booked an Apartment suite, however, the air-con is not working and resort staff had upgraded my stay to the Perdana suite at no additional cost. On the last day of the tour, one of the restaurent staff notice that my son was not feeling well. Will definitely come back to this resort for my subsequent visit - On arrival we were upgraded to a large family villa on the ground floor which had everything we needed with excellent housekeeping staff. The location of the Holiday/Federal Villa on Pantai Tengah Beach is perfect....Great for families
