Dongdaemun Inn is the best guesthouse I have stayed at throughout my entire Asia grad trip. The service from John (the manager) and his staff (Dahee and Yayun) was simply amazing. Staff was wonderful, very helpful and spoke English. The manager John personally helped us find a place to eat upon our first night arriving.
Inn was very easy to find and very close to station. Family Mart and foreign card friendly ATM within 50ft of inn.
Inn provides free laundry service and no curfew. walking distance to famous dongdaemun shopping ( hello A PM / migilore)
Very close to good mom and pop Korean restaurant ( 다모아) good prices, great food.

The staff we're really friendly. They helped us with everything and spoke enough English to help us with our needs.
The washroom did clog up, but the cleaning lady came in about 15 minutes to fix it. The beds were comfort and big enough. We were traveling with 4 adults and we got the family room. Best this about the room was the washing machine,

Friendly English speaking staff. Reasonable pricing for a big and comfortable family room that could even accommodate more than 4 adults. Great location. 5-10 minutes walk to subway, 10-15 minutes walk to Dondaemun shopping area,,15-20 minutes walk to Namdaemun and Myeongdong shopping area. This is by far the best Hotel that i stayed in Korea. It's more like your own living quarters rather than staying in any standard hotel. I felt like I'm at home. The place is unusually clean , far better than the business hotel I stayed for work. For the price I paid, I must say the room is spacious enough, toilet too. It has more than the basic amenities I would get in other guesthouse. They allow you to do your laundry free, free wifi, breakfast and oh I love their strawberry jam , free rental of adaptor just pay a deposit of 5000 won it will be returned once you have returned it, nice staff , very friendly and helpful, you can change your towels ever

Our stay was great. Rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. And it has all the basic amenities you need. The staff are very are very friendly & helpful esp Kooik & Christine. Warm and friendly staff is definitely a bonus!
The way to the guesthouse is very steep but it is just a 5 mins walk to Myeongdong station and the shopping district.
Overall we were very satisfied with the stay and would definitely stay there again!

To start off with, the location is superb. It's near Sinchon metro station and also accessible by airport limousine bus. Thanks to the manager Beau, who very kindly offered to pick me up at the station, there's no way that you'll get lost finding this guesthouse! :) Clear directions were also sent to you in advance.

location is quiet albeit its being so central. The possibility of
renting a hanok room is of course a huge plus (I had the hanok style
