Having stayed at the Family Inn Saiko for almost a week I have to say that the whole experience has been a truly pleasant one! In fact, I would go even so far as saying that it was one of the most pleasant experiences in a few years worth of travelling.
Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and make one immediately feel at ease.

I loved how friendly and helpful the hotel staff was and how willing they were to assist me in my travels as well as answer my questions and concerns. The room was VERY clean and comfortable and it was a great Japanese cultural experience. It was conveniently located close to 3 subway stops, including the Ikebukuro station. I definitely enjoyed my stay here and if I am ever in Tokyo again, I will be staying here again! I have already recommended the Family Inn Saiko to friends!

Once we know which Ikebukuro exit to take, it became very handy as it was only 2 minutes away. Take Echika exit 6 rather than the west gate of Ikebukuro station. It has elevator - good for travelers with luggage like we were.
Breakfast was nice, quite a wide selection of Japanese style food.

- Good location. The hotel is near Harajuku station, Omotesando and Meiji Shrine. Despite of not be located in the major street there´s a sign pointing the hotel direction that makes very easy to find it.

Stayed here for one night after arriving into Tokyo on a late flight. Convenient train journey from the airport which was trouble free. About 5 minutes walk from train station.

It was a convenient location - direct line to Shibuya and easy to get many places. It was also a bit of a quieter area which was nice. The room was small but comfortable and had everything you need - including a little balcony with a great view of the river and the Skytree. We used the footbath which was great, the breakfast choice was wonderful and the staff were friendly. The shower was perfect and nice soft water and wonderful heated seat on the toilet. I stayed here for 11 nights, which we're all great and this hotel
supported me in the best way possible. The staff was very friendly,
sweet and helpful, making you feel welcome. It's also 1 minute
walking from a Seven Eleven ( where you can also pin Yen ) and a
supermarket. The metro is about 5 minutes walking and Asakusa about 15
minutes by foot.

The hotel location is quite good. About 700m to minami-senju station. I
walk with my friends to Tokyo Skytree and Asakusa (Sensoji Temple).
Other than that, there bicycle for rental. I rent the bicycle for half
day (300 jpy) to ueno.
For muslim, there a mosque (Masjid Dar Al Arqam) not far from the hotel (900 m). But there are no muslim restaurant nearby.
The owner of the hotel is extremely a good person, help a lot in what ever things I ask.

It stands near by the Toei Gotanda station A6 exit.But if you carry large baggage,it is more convenient to the hotel from A3 exit.It is easy to shop and eat at night.Near the hotel, there is a remy department store and the supermarket open until 1:00. The wifi and the washing machine help us a lot. I recommend tourists to stay the hotel. -

Polite, helpful, systematic, hygienic, etc. Free wifi throughout the hotel and only 200 steps away from the Gotanda train station. Secured environment.
