The staff was very accommodating. We were upgraded to a larger room
which included a separate bedroom with two twin beds plus the tatami
room which gave us the option of sleeping on futons. Dinner and
breakfast were delicious and the staff accommodated our request to join
the two rooms for meals to allow the four of us to eat together. The
front desk went the extra step of driving us from the ryokan to the
train station.
