  Great Location! Superb staff! Clean! Perfect!!!! What a beautiful surprise when we arrived at the hostel. It was situated in the heart of Tokyo, walking distance to most of the town's attractions. A fun place, that offers the ultimate in recreation and relaxation. - Considering we were on a 3 week trip to Japan and that we visited many hotels and hostels during its span, I have to say that Tokyo Ueno Youth Hostel had the friendliest and most helpful staff we have come across. The general attitude of the employees towards the guests surpassed all of our expectations.
