Owner and staffs are so friendly. I think he waited for our coming after
I confirmed arrival time because while we were walking to find Ryokan
and almost getting lost, he called us from in front of Ryokan. I was so
impressed. I got a big clean room with garden view and not close to the
street so it was quite and peaceful. This room is what I think when stay
in ryokan. Love it.
Evrvetything here is great,I already recommend to all my friends..I felt need to rrturn snd extend my stay...Next time will be definitely there much longer..Food is also excellent .It is the best ryokan which ovet your expectation...!.
A perfect choice, with a not-that-high but getting an excellent
experience of traditional Japanese living. Very kind people and very
warm service. If I would come to Kyoto twice, I'll still live here.
The family that runs the ryokan were so kind. The breakfast was delicious. The facilites were clean and well maintained. The garden was beautiful. The place was so serene.
Almost everything are awesome! The people there are nice and friendly.
The room is clean and in very traditional japanese style.
They allow us to check in early and also upgraded us to a larger room which is quiet and nice .The staff are very friendly.
Everything is good for me such as staff, room, breakfast.. seem like stay at my grandfather home.
Very friendly and kindly they make me feel like at home. Good restaurant included.
Resonable price with peaceful and wonderful in-room garg\den view.
nice view for the traditional Japanese house.
Tout.
This is a inexpensive alternative to a modern hotel. Further out in a
neighborhood so a good way to experience local life. They offered bikes
to go to the local temple a 10 minutes ride up the road, which was very
peaceful and old (1200 years).
The rooms are traditional and the bathrooms were clean.
Familiar atmosphere, traditional style.
the hot bath tub.
Nothing.
Transportation is not very convenient.
nothing.
a little far from downtown.
Nourriture un peu chère.
These are Japanese style living quarters, not a ryokan. While people are
friendly, there are no specialized services you get in a ryokan. You
make you own tea and come down a meal if you want to dine in their
restaurant.
But the equipment was far too basic; from the TV not having an English Channel, to a dirty, out of date kitchen.
Would only recommend this place if you're easy going, and get a promotion on the price.
Needs to be refreshed but generally ok.
Weak accoustic of walls.
the hotel was messy with boxes and other stuff laying around. the walls are so thin you can hear next room at all times. location is quite far from the city center. warning: pictures on the website are a million times better than what you will get.
