My stay was for 1 night, but the level of service wanted me to stay for more nights. Room was very clean, neat and tidy. Very spacious for a single room. What can I say about the location, in front of the main station in Fukuoka, Hakata station, where Bullet train stops and heads to rest of Kyushu or to Osaka etc. The breakfast I had was Euro style buffet, hot omelette with Mentaiko (Fukuoka delicacy food) Heard Japanese food is also available, must try for next time. I would recommend Hotel N.
todos opiniões » The staff is really nice and helpfull. The rooms are quite good, and not small. The brakfast is excellent. The decoration and the quietness of the hotel is very good, it is quite close to the international airport and very close to central train station. My wife and myself did enjoy very much. Rooms were clean & nice; fairly spacious for a Japanese hotel. Hotel is very central and in easy walking distance to the main train station - only 3 - 5 mins. From this station you can take the subway to anywhere including the airport (only a 5 minute trip) and also can get the Shinkansen. The hotel is pretty spacious based on Japanese standard. Is very near to rail station if you are taking train from airport. Walking distance to places of interest and to Hakata Canal. The staff is very helpful and even help us to reserve some restaurant. Beautiful, spacious hotel and rooms. Very helpful staff in getting us checked in as soon as possible. Very conveniently located close to the rail station, from which we did all our traveling. To Fukuoka International Airport is about 15 min and the taxi fare is about ¥1200. Very convenient. early check in / late check out professional english speaking staff underground access to Hakata and Gion stations. Lcation is perfect for getting around Fukuoka. Typically of a "Japanese" hotel, there are always a few little things that will annoy foreigners.... For example, to use the hotel gym costs around us$40 per visit! Also, an evening drink in the hotel bar will set you back almost US$15pp as a cover charge!!!!. Nothing. Prices in the restaurant seemed a little steep, especially compared to some very decent restaurants only a block or two distant. None. Nothing. not the best view from our room. Nothing to complain. None. Breakfast is expensive. No late check out without charge. Paying for the gym/pool was too expensive and the gym was always empty because nobody can afford to use it. our friends stayed at two other city hotels, one had free gym, the other 1000Y. Nikko needs to change this policy!!! Also didnt like that you couldnt get cash out from a credit card at reception. No free coffee in room. Everything was fine. No free gym facilities. Having to pay for the fitness centre (gym). I stayed for 5 nights. The last day I asked for a late check-out until 2 p.m., they declined. This is the first time happened to me and I see it as very unfriendly gesture. This is nonsense and unacceptable that the swimming pool need extra charge as well as the gym. relatively poor value compared to Hotel Ginza in Kyoto.
