  I love everything about this hotel. Our room has a good view of Mt. Fuji. It is very clean and gives a generous amount of toiletries such as shaving cream,toothbrush, headband and mouthwash. There is free coffee from 7-9:30 am. Train to Fuji-Q is just 3 minutes walk.   A truly Japanese experience. We hand a japanese style room, with a picture postcard view of the lake and mount fuji in the distance. Upon arrival, we were served tea in our room. The large room was partitioned with a sliding japanese screen doors, dividing the bedroom and seating areas. Just what we all needed after a busy day sigh - spacious room with own terrace and bar makes me more relaxing while looking to the lake in front of me. during afternoon before dinner , walking in lake for about 5 mins walk from hotel is very convenient.and we try the japanese style room! was fantastic! should really try to first time in japan.they have also shuttle bus which u can ask to pick u up in nearest station.thier english is pretty understable so probably it will be good enough to zero percent japanese langauage.lots of near japanese

  Staff were so friendly and helpful! they couldn't speak English fluently but they could understand enough for us to get our point across. Had a wonderful Japanese style room with a balcony and lovely view of the Lake when we woke up! brilliant! also has a public onsen or the option to have a bathroom adjoined to your room as well which is great fo... o que as pessoas dizem » r westerners! - This place is amazing if you have a room facing Mt. Fuji. The possibility to rent a bicycle to cycle around during the day (allowed until 6pm only) is a huge plus because there are so many sights and sounds to look out for. Another huge plus is the fact that we had an on-site onsen (hot bath). It is very useful after a whole day of trekking around the place.

Dinner at hotel must book 1 day before , but if you arrive before 8pm there is a japanese restaurant just 100m away and very good. Bus from Shinjuku 1700 Yen is most convenience just 2 hours, forget about JP pass.   All of it. The facilities (really traditional Japanese), all the small things were think about. The service, they even took care of our almost left-behind passports and left-behind goods. They picked us up at the Kawaguchi station. They bring us back to Kawaguchi station any time we have to go there. The staff can speak English good. The - 5 course dinner to the room was an amazing experience. Our bedroom was facing mt. Fuji, even though it wasn't the most expensive option. We went for a Japanese style room, it was comfortable and relatively spacious. Onsen is facing lake Kawaguchi. It's well equipped and spotless. You get to wear Japanese dressing gowns, pyjamas and slippers. We asked for a converter, they didn't have it but they kindly lent us their own iphone5 charger.
