The owner met us at Rialto and took us to the apartment (which would otherwise be difficult to find). She was very helpful and friendly and advised on food shopping and restaurants. The apartment was charming and comfortable and had sufficient facilities.

A warm welcome from Arrigo started our wonderful 4 day Venice experience! Do take notice of his recommendations! We stayed in a 2 bed apartment very close to bus and train station. Apartment was very clean, spacious and kithcen had everything you needed for either a quick breakfast or dinner. Coop (supermarket) just around the corner (5 mins walk) or a smaller corner shop 2 mins away.

-True Venice experience! The hotel is located on one of the small canals, so finding the hotel was an adventour in itself. Its entrance is located on a small side street and you walk through the ground floor of the building (past the canal boat entrance) to get to the rooms. It felt like we were staying in a Venice residence instead of a hotel.

Locanda Ca Del Console is in a very good location between the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. It isn't easy to find, but use the directions on the website along with a map and you'll figure it out eventually. The staff is very friendly, which is a big plus. We made the reservation at the last minute so we didn't have many choices. The room was big. The decor was a little strange. The breakfast was fine. Did I mention the staff is very friendly? That was the biggest plus.

While the apartment was a bit of an ugly duckling, we were very comfortable. The air conditioning coped with the warm weather, the kitchen had everything we needed, and our bed was very comfortable.

I made a reservation in this hotel for my parents. It was their wedding anniversary and the hotel's owner welcomed them by giving them a bottle of wine as a present. the location of this hotel is not difficult to find, and it is near to the water bus stop, so it is very convienent. And with about 15mins walk we can reach Piazza S. Marco and a few mins to Rialto. Location was about 10 mins walk from St. Marks Square. Close yet far enough away from crowds. Rooms were lovely.Ours was small but had view of canal while our friends had a huge room to make up for lack of view, I reckon! Personally, I loved room with a view. Staff very helpful and breakfast very tasty. All in all, great value.

The staff could not do enough for us and treated us like silk worms. Nothing was a problem. Directions, hints, tips and must see all explained thoroughly. I was nervous about getting from the airport on our own, but the directions were very clear and the hotel easy to find. The location was perfect between the Rialto and St Marco square-we couldn't have picked better! Very impressed with how friendly the staff are and how welcomed we felt. This B&B is located very closely to the train station (5 min. walking) and bus station (10 min. walking). Also the water taxi stop Riva di Biasio is only 2 min. walking distance. The couple Sergio and Marcella are very nice, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, prepared and served by Marcella in their little tiny kitchen.
