  Maria Elisabetta and Rodolfo are a wonderful young couple who take great care of their guests. The location of the Residenza is perfect (next to San Marco but away from the crowd, and not far away from the Castello area where the Biennale takes place and where there are plenty of great authentic restaurants). Breakfast - very good (choice of yoghurts, meat, cheese, bread, jam, juice, coffee, tea, etc.) Owner - intelligent, polite and friendly person with great sense of humor.   This is an good hotel for a family. The hotel staff was excellent! They really went out of their way to accommodate us. We also enjoyed having a family room as these are hard to come by. The price was reasonable and the continental breakfast was great. They carried our bags up the stairs (yes, stairs, no elevator), but what do you expect for a smaller and quiet little nest out in the heart of Venice. Wifi is free and its fast!!! There's a few floors but with only a few rooms, meaning its not loud; you can sleep in peace, and quiet.
