Toscolano Maderno is in the center of the lake in terms of location, you can go anywhere with the regular Boat service on the lake. This hotel had a real homely feel. It was a lot older than the other hotels on our trip but this was nice as it had lots of character and charm which was enhanced by the hilarious manager. The breakfast was a little limited although nice. What made this hotel really special was its location to the Lake and nearby Maderno. Also the music night that the manager laid on for the guests was fab. We took the ferry from Maderno across to Torri del Benaco priced at 13Euros per adult return. A great bas

The location is amazing with a ferry port nearby so you can catch a boat to anywhere else in the Lake. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. The whole place is clean. -

The location was superb with a wonderful view from the 3rd floor facing (west) the Lake-front of Maderno. The room was very comfortable and the balcony was very roomy with a stunning view. Maderno is fairly good for ferries on Garda; not as good as some for connections but we did lots of travelling around and discovering lots of new villages.
