Myself and wife had a long drive to the hotel that day, having booked only the day before as we needed a location close to the ferry across to Messina. It was refreshing to be greeted by the owner whom was only too helpfull and friendly, and his daughter also. We had a comfortable stay and can highly recommend this Hotel. -

This hotel was a perfect location for walking on the beach and exploring the town. The decor of the lobby and the beautiful breakfast room made me feel like I was staying in an expensive hotel, but the price was very affordable. The staff spoke very good English and helped us with directions to nearby attractions. -

Absolutely fabulous. This place was a real find. No attention to detail spared with a great location, a stones throw from the beach and friendly staff.The room was tastefully decorated and was more like a 5 star establishment. The host was really nice and went to pick us up directly in Scilla, since we had trouble finding the place.
He gave us a room with sea view in La Locandiera instead of la Piccole Grotte (I think it is the same owner), but that's probably because we traveled in low season.
Room was very nice, breakfast very good and not standard (which is great).
