The innkeeper was so friendly!! He gave us a map and made excellent recommendations for where to eat and sites to see. Although we were clearly tourists we felt like we had the inside scoop. Location is perfect... Lots to do and see. Sofa bed was very comfortable and washing machine in bathroom was a bonus. This was an exceptional deal!!!

The welcome and assistance from Umberto and Vincenzo was second to none. The room was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Towels changed after two days. The position was ideal with a tram stop just outside, although it is possible to walk to the centre. Trastevere has a good selection of, reasonably priced, bars and restaurants and some delightful lanes to stroll through.

I had a very pleasant stay at Caligola resort and hereby recommend it to everyone! The location is just great, nearby to Trastevere. The suite is very close to the Vatican and the Metro and ideal for travel to all the tourist sites. Restaurants in the immediate area are very reasonable and I would recommend any fish dishes on any of the menus. Remember to bring a comfortable pair of shoes and forget the Metro the first few days and enjoy the walks through the colourful streets -
