Venice, we intentionally looked for a room with updates and some space
and Carnival delivered both. Check in was easy and quick! The hotel was
in the quite end of town and away from the crowd. It is also a very
short distance (5min) to the public transportation dock and maybe 15 min

This hotel is the best I have ever stayed in. We were greeted with a glass of prosecco on arrival and were upgraded to a suite as it was our 1st wedding anniversary. The suite had 2 bathrooms, a lounge, a full size hot tub and a kingsize circular bed. The breakfast was amazing with a vast array of choices. The pools and facilities were top class and everywhere was spotlessly clean.

We stayed here for 12 nights at the beginning of August. The location is superb with only a short walk along the beautiful lakeshore into Peschiera del Garda town center. There is a public beach only 5 mins from the hotel and a restaurant next door which gives you a 10% discount because you are staying in the hotel. I stayed at Residence Blue Lake in August 2013 and cannot recommend it highly enough. Andrea was friendly and gave us tips on things to do. He even sourced a more powerful hair dryer for us! The apartment was a nice size, very clean and with everything you might need. The building is a 5 minute walk to the lake, restaurants and shops in Bardolino.
