  Paola was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable and charming and we had a lovely wood chip fire. - Although the place is wonderful and it is a great pleasure to stay at Le Cloux, the personality of Paola is the finishing touch.   What a special place to stay! From the moment we arrived everyone was so welcoming, the family who run the hotel and reception staff in particular Claudia who spoke excellent English. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a superior room which was very comfortable and spacious. We ate here every night because the food was excellent. We have stayed in some 5 star hotels over th - The staff. Our main language is English and we only speak basic Italian. Most of the staff spoke some English and if they didn't they quickly found someone who did. The breakfasts were excellent and we enjoyed each of the evening meals we had in the hotel. If we didn't finish a bottle of wine it was kept for us and put on our table the following evening.
