The Spiga d'Oro was a great farmhouse in the heart of Tuscany. It was conveniently located so that we were able to do some wonderful day trips within a reasonable drive: Florence, Arezzo, Siena, Cortona, Montepuliciano. The accommodations were great. Absolutely loved this place. Big room with a fantastic bed. Nice bathroom and it was all very clean. Hotel is nice and isolated, but there is a great restaurant just a short walk away. Didn't use the pool or hot tub due to the weather, but they both looked decent. If you are out here at the right time of year, and walking back from the restaurant at night, keep your eyes peeled for fireflies. Amazing

We really liked the relaxed friendly atmosphere of the place. Breakfast was lovely on outside terrace with a delicious variety of fresh home made cakes, fresh coffee, fruit salad, ham, cheese and more. Stefano and Fabiola very helpful and welcoming without being 'in your face'. Lovely quite place to return to after busy day sight seeing and ample selection of restaurants in Calci.

The owner Giulia was AMAZING she even baked me gluten free rolls for breakfast as I have a gluten allergy. She was incredibly helpful in recommending a restaurant which was fantastic. She is friendly and runs a very romantic little place which is exceptionally clean. The breakfast was like a 5 star spread. I HIGHLY recommend this B & B . Thanks Giulia you are Fantastic.
