Charming owners who welcomed us warmly. Rooms are quaint, clean, spacious and comfortable. Ideal location close to the village and world famous hot springs. The breakfast buffet has a wide range of choices including many hand made jams, honeys from the property. Our smallest request was met with gracious hospitality. We felt like family when we departed. Excellent parking.

Il Casale del Cotone was a fantastic choice for a relaxing week in Tuscany. San Gimigniano is only 3.5km away so if you want to do some shopping or go out for dinner or lunch, this is very convenient. The accommodation is kept very clean and the host Alessandro makes a very big effort to ensure all his guests are happy and comfortable. Alessandro cooks a 5 course meal 3-4 nights a week. We enjoyed these occasions and found this was a great opportunity to talk with him and meet the other guests.

The rooms are very modern and spacious. Staff was very nice and helpful. The train station is a bit far if you walk but there is a free shuttle service. As we visited Florence during the weekend we used our car to go to the city and found quite easily a free parking place outside the zone with limited access. The breakfast was very good. -
