The Spiga d'Oro was a great farmhouse in the heart of Tuscany. It was conveniently located so that we were able to do some wonderful day trips within a reasonable drive: Florence, Arezzo, Siena, Cortona, Montepuliciano. The accommodations were great. Absolutely loved this place. Big room with a fantastic bed. Nice bathroom and it was all very clean. Hotel is nice and isolated, but there is a great restaurant just a short walk away. Didn't use the pool or hot tub due to the weather, but they both looked decent. If you are out here at the right time of year, and walking back from the restaurant at night, keep your eyes peeled for fireflies. Amazing

and trees in the distance were placed in the position they are for your
sole benefit.
Francesco and his family make you feel fabulously at home, cooking you delicious cakes for breakfast leaving wine and oil made on the farm in your fridge and giving you tours off their olive oil factory.

This is the most beautifull villa I've ever been to & seen. This is a perfect place if you stay in Tuscany few days - close to Firenze and Lucca/Piza as weel. The rooms are beautiful (more beautiful then pictures on booking presenting the villa). My room was the smallest one (le coccinelle - abt 20 sq m) but it was comfortable enought, really stylish, beautiful, new and very clean (as the whole villa). We stayed at four different hotels in Italy and Agriturismo Il Termine was by far the best hotel. Very nice staff, you feel as you are part of the family. The hotel also had fantastic food!!! The best food on Elba including the breakfast. It is a small and cosy hotel so if you want to relax and enjoy nature this is the place to visit. We only regret that we could not stay longer!

Amazing place, beautiful scenery. Clean, spacious room. Bathroom was clean with fresh towels and bed linen. The owner was so generous with recommendations. The house is 8km from the hot spring. The information the owners provide are detailed in dinner recommendations etc. the breakfast was fresh and all homemade. We would recommend this farm stay.

This was our second stay at I Lapi in as many years. Just as last time, we were not disappointed. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful, and as many others have mentioned - great breakfast! Certainly a place to come back to!

We loved the hotel from the time we arrived and throughout our stay. The front desk is exceptional. Our room had a balcony with double doors which we rarely closed so we could hear the surf. The furnishings were "simple elegance". Everything was very clean and fresh. Breakfast was a feast and the coffee order was immediately taken and served.
We would most definitely stay here again.
