  Very nice stay. Great breakfast, most of it home made and fresh. Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable. No problem getting there. Just use the coordinates you receive from Balarte or the 'location on the map'-feature in your TomTom. letsbookhotel.comsite gives you the exact location. Also Balarte signs on roads close by. Ispica is interesting for the cava d'Isp - Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

  Charming, helpful owners. Castellamare del Golfo is a good base for visiting North West Sicily. The scenery in the area is beautiful. The town is not far from Palermo airport and the autostrada does not have much traffic. - Great place, perfect location and very friendly staff!! Recommended to everybody!!

  A lovely recent refurbishment, very spacious rooms, amazing bathroom with colour therapy built in! It is run by Massimo, known as Salvatore :), and his lovely wife, who bakes all the bread and cakes for breakfast, so you really feel you're at home!   Pools fantastic Rooms large Very helpful staff, in particular Monica. Courtyard with fountain and poolside area very nice with ample seating. Nicely furnished with oceans of space for clothes, even in the smaller of the two rooms. The large room had a sofa and coffee table making it very homely. Location near to Segesta, relatively near to Palermo... o que as pessoas dizem » and Monreale and the coast, including the nature reserves made it an excellent choice for culture, nature and sea. - We had a very short one night stay but the location is great with easy access to many interesting archeological sites and local points of interest. We would hapily return in the future.
