The location was perfect - metres from the main street. Really good breakfast - just ask for eggs, bacon, cheese etc. Roof terrace was great, lots of sun loungers and not too crowded. Pool is not huge but fine to cool off in.and has lovely views.
They can organise a cheap trip to a nearby private beach which was definitely worth doing.

Good help from manager and staff, even helping one of our number with his broken phone! Breakfast was excellent overlooking the harbour from the rooftop restaurant. Small balconies overlooking same harbour. Secure parking for bikes provided. -

Nice hotel. It's italian, so don't expect too much. There's about 10 parking spaces in the back for 7 euro a day or a few free spots in the front. The hotel is up on a hill, it's walking distance from everything as long as you don't mind the up hill hike to get back to the hotel. Excellent location for sightseeing. Beds and pillow (self selection)excellent as were the bathroom and breakfast. Highly recommended. - Staff were friendly and very helpful and efficient. I drove to the hotel and all I had to do was follow the signs to the Best Western Mediterraneo once I entered the city of Catania.I was able to find it with ease.

The location was superb and as we chose not to drive on our short break, the buses, bars and restaurants were all on our doorstep. Our room had lovely sea views and we were not disappointed with anything. Our host was most welcoming and we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Walter for your hospitality and kindness.
