  Very nice design. Hotel is situated not far away from historical and shopping center (15-20 min by walk). A lot of restaurants near the hotel. 24 hours Courrefour in 5 minutes. Is just outside the old town in what look like a new business area of Milan. Great breakfast with a lot of options. The room we stayed was in the last floor with no windows, like an attic. May sound weird, but was really cozy and with a fake hera climbing the walls. Great value for money!

The area seems pretty dead in the morning, but it starts to wake up in the late afternoon and evening.   Señora Laura is a true gem and made our stay very enjoyable . Her bright greeting Robinsons every day made the day start enjoyably . I had read on a review that WiFi was "crap". This was not the case at all. We have recommended Villa Torretta to two friends and we only arrived back in Australia

  Perfect quiet location. No activities for children. We were glad there were only adults. The food is of very high class but still at a reasonable price. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. There is a short walking distance (trafic no problem for adults who are fully mobile) to town ,Laveno where you will find traditional Italian resturants -... o que as pessoas dizem » but avoid the pizza on the market square, even for lunch. We had a totally magnificent holiday for 5 days, totally relaxed luxury. Would like to come - This was quite a surprise because the outside does not impress but the inside is very well done with modern fixtures. We were very impressed with the restaurant especially the degustation menu. The owners are doing it up so the outside will probably be modernized during the quiet season.

There is free use of bikes at the hotel to discover the routes around the lake and also to visit the local vineyards and surrounding areas. The breakfast was excellent which set you up for the rest of day.
