STaff were very friendly and gave valid advice about the town. the Dependenza was well situated in Levanto on the main street but opening onto the back so not noisy. accom was adequate, and acceptable, not luxury but then price was commensurate.

1. Amazing location. Right in the city center. Genova was a lot of small dirty streets, where you might be afraid to walk in the late evening. This is not the case here. Olympia Hotel is at arms length to many delights. Shopping, architecture, restaurants, the square, good coffee across the road and more ... to find and it was about half a mile away. The parking lot is a fenced,

We stayed off season and the price was excellent. It was a 5 minute
walk to the train station and was easy to get to the Cinque Terra. The
owner was very kind and even gave us a bottle of olive oil when we
left. Great place to stay, they also has sky tv and you can get English
speaking channels.

The owner of Hotel Genziana is one of the nicest and accommodating people we have met on our travels. Our stay was very enjoyable and for a facility with a shared bathroom, we did not mind this at all due to the cleanliness and support of staff.

Good value, minimal, but clean room we had. The location of the hotel is unexpected.. Right in the middle of the labyrinth of dark alleyways of Genoa. Unique underground experience (for a night or two the most) with hookers and pushers around => Not for those with children though.

cinque terre. Also we biked along the coast through tunnels with bikes
from the owner. Great walks along the coast and through vineyards. The
owner is very kind and helpful and she made a nice breakfast every

Rapallo is one of my favorite place easily reachable by train to Cinqua Terre and Portofino, Santa Margherita.Hotel is very old building, furnitures old but clean, 50 m.to the sea shore, helpfull owner, we liked.You can eat breakfast on ground floor after 08.30, it's to late for tourists; but helpfull owner gave us delicious cakes..l recommend.

The location was an easy 5 minute walk to the beach or drive to outside eateries. The community toilet was not an issue as there were at least 3 and were very close to the rooms which were semi-private.
