  Well situated, a lovely 15 min walk into town. Beach 8 mins down the hill. Clean, simple, effective. We hired a car (40E pd) to explore the island. Perfect size to do that. - Friendly and helpful reception staff, handy for beach and town by foot - albeit a 20 minute walk is good for us.

  The hotel was delightful and the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restored convent is beautifully decorated. Anyone planning a special event would love this hotel. Everything at the hotel seems to be selected with great care. The antiques throughout the hotel make you feel like you are living in another era. The views from the hotel are amazing.Paestum is nearby so that was an interesting site to visit. - Lovingly restored building in a fantastic location. Comfortable, well appointed room.Friendly staff. Excellent food and wine, fairly priced. We seemed to be the only visitors on a Friday night in early May - hard to understand, given the quality of the place. Worth remembering that this is a B&B, so it took a while to establish that we could have an evening meal there. Once we did it was very good and served in a room with stunning views.

The town of Castellammare di Stabia is not verynice, so you have to drive to Amalfi coast to get decent views.   Villa Rizzo was perfect - friendly staff, beautiful location, and great accommodations. Drinking a bottle of wine (from the estate!) on a terrace by the pool, overlooking the valley, was one of the highlights of our 2 week trip. - Nice and quiet environment. Good service, ample rooms and nice decor outside the city.

  Wonderful place to stay, quiet, beautifil and relaxing. 1) Good location, close to a bus stop, beaches and villages (10 min walk) and St Angelo is the most beautiful place on the island. You can rent a bathrobe and towel for swimming pools for 2 euros a day. 3) Room was not small, high-ceilinged, with a terrace.
