Villino di porporano is one of those special places you come across occasionally. Staying there made our holiday one to be remembered. Arriving there we are greeted by Elena, and immediately we are made to feel at home, tired after our flight and travel from milan, pizza from the local trattoria is arranged, this starts a couple of days of some of finest regional food i have tasted (why else do you travel!). The villa has been tastefully restored with attention to detail in regards to furnish.
todos opiniões » My husband and I stayed at this villa for 3 nights. This is a wonderful B&B. The room was spacious and comfortable. Elena thought of everything. We had everything we needed in our rooms. There was a fabulous claw foot tub in the bedroom - really romantic. I know we were in Italy but it felt like we were staying in an amazing french country side farmhouse. Just lovely. We were in Italy for 2 weeks and we had the absolute best breakfast in the 3 days we were here. Elena and Paula mad. After seeing the pictures of Villino di Porporano online I knew that we needed to stay here. I actually changed our itinerary so that we could fit this beautiful little place into our trip. It was even more beautiful than I anticipated. The owner, Elena, has restored her hotel with a quiet elegance that permeates every detail. From the pebbled, hydrangia lined walkways, to the huge windows in the entry, to the creamy furnishings, to the antique linens...every detail is perfect. Elena is graciou. We loved our stay at Villino di Porporana. From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome by our hostess Elena. She guided us on where to eat, what to see and how to get to places with an excellent understanding of what we wanted. The breakfasts were all ways excellent and when persuaded to cook an evening meal for us and another couple it a truly memorable meal. As we were travelling by train though Italy we used the excellent buses and Taxis to travel around Parma - again it was no pro. This bed and breakfast place is rather special. The house is beautifully renovated and elegantly decorated. Down to every little detail, the beautifully embroidered bed linen and lovely breakfast china and cutlery. Elena is very friendly and helpful. On her recommendations she booked us two restaurants for the two nights we were there. Both were excellent! Breakfast was really excellent with freshly squeezed orange juice and warm bread! All served by friendly staff. There's a lovely garden with. We stayed 3 nights at Villino Porporano, our lovely room on the 1st floor also had a sitting room with desk and good wifi access. The bed was large and comfortable with an excellent bathroom. Our hostess Elena is a very busy lady, always interested with where you have been and checking you are comfortable. There are lovely sitting areas and comfortable gardens seats. Our breakfast was delicious everything very fresh, extremely good omelets. It's in a village on quite a busy road, parking was op. Elena is the most wonderful, generous, helpful hostess. She went over and above her duties as an owner and we were really grateful. We were very tired, lost travelers and she sent her husband to guide us in to their place. (Road construction was a problem) He made dinner reservations for us at the wonderful Trattoria (Da Romeo)and they made sure that we had a somewhat english speaking waiter. Elena's eye for detail at the B&B is beautiful. Wonderful fresh breakfast every morning. Her staff . We loved everything about Villino di Porporano. The relaxed atmosphere and attention to detail created by Elena was more than expected. The decor was amazing. We experienced a home cooked meal by the cook Paola on request which was excellent as was her breakfasts every day providing cakes and other delights. Elena's english was very good and she was so helpfull providing information for trips nothing was a bother for this perfect host. Gillian - Edinburgh. This was one of the highlights of our trip. The owner, Elena Maria was incredibly gracious, friendly and hospitable. She and her staff went out of their way to make our stay extra pleasant. The 2nd evening, she and her staff prepared us a full course Italian dinner that was delicious. This is what a bed and breakfast experience should be!. This little hotel is a wonderful place near Parma. The owner is friendly, lovely and hospitable young lady. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful garden with fruit trees and there is a large pool. Beautifully and tastefully restored country villa setting. Caring hosts who could not be more delightful and helpful. Elena ensures that you have the best possible experience during your visit to the Parma area. Rooms are beautifully decorated. Elena was very friendly & helpful by booking us dinner reservations & providing details on where to go in Parma. Beautiful in every aspect...Lovely linen on beds & wonderful breakfasts. Welcomed our grandchildren with Italian gusto. Would highly recommend. Everything! The warm welcome. The cleanliness. The beautiful house. The lovely park. The delicious breakfast - and the lovely linnen!!!!. It was perfect. The best B&B we have stayed in on our visit to Italy and the breakfast was superb. 10 out of 10 in our view. We loved the R&B The decor, the room, the living area, nice breakfast. The recommended restaurant is also a must try. Fantastic building and facilities with exceedingly helpful owner. Room was very clean, comfortable and really beautiful!. Excellent Staff - very helpful. breakfast great staff. The style of the place, linen and colors. It was poor planning on our part, but this is a true Italian city that closes up for the afternoon hours. Be sure to go into town when everything is open. Nothing. perhaps bit far from the city centre. not walking distance. Not quite the country location we had hoped for but this was far outweighed by the standard of the accommodation. The windows only have curtains for the show and they could not be closed. zero.
