Beautiful location close to piazza.
Very helpful staff that were very accommodating.
Beautiful patio and rooms.
Breakfast was good.
Wine bar is exceptional with very reasonable pricing and helpful advice from staff.
They have a new automated tasting bar that allows the user to select the desired amount of wine to taste with the prorated charge associated automatically. Selection was very good.
Can't beat the location.
Parking nearby 1 block away. There was some confusion about where it wa. todos opiniões »
The room was lovely with a terrific view of the Tuscan countryside. The
location of the hotel was excellent, right in the centre of
Montepulciano. The view from the restaurant on the terrace was
breathtaking. We cannot say enough positive things about Francesco and
his father, Adriano. My husband became ill during our stay, and they
arranged for a doctor to come right to our room, then made 4 separate
trips to drive us to and from the hospital. They also put me into a
wonderful suite when we ha.
The location in the heart of the historic center is breathtaking. Our
bedroom looked out over fields and mountains. The view from the dining
terrace was fantastic, especially at sunset. Very romantic! The only
thing better than the view was the food, which was outstanding.
Everything was made fresh on the premises each day by the
family/owners. The staff were all family and their love of being
good hosts made our stay very special. It is a great location for
touring the surrounding area too-- a.
We stayed for one night but would have loved to stay longer. We had the apartment which was stunning. Loved. Staying in such a historic style building. Owner was amazing. While he spoke little English, his staff did, and with a few gestures we were able to have a laugh together. He was amazingly accommodating. The onsite restaurant has stunning sunset views and seemed to be a fav with the locals which is a good sign! Stunning hilltop town. Worth the effort.
Exceptionally kind staff! Plus the room was more than amazing! We got a
small kitchen in medieval style with a large living room and a super
view!!! Also, there was a jacuzzi in the bathroom and the room was
rather large with a great view! The owner himself served us breakfast!
The restaurant downstairs is famous and cozy, with special local and
delicious plates! We recommend it! And if ever we go to Montepulciano
again, that is where we will stay!.
It was excellent! Family run Osteria, the host welcomed us warmly and did everything to ensure our stay would be perfect. And it was! The apartment was in the old building, but renewed for a comfortable stay. One of the best places I have ever stayed. Clean, comfortable for cooking, right in the center, quiet streets at night, nice breakfast with a perfect coffee! Good for family trips (with kids as well), romantic stays.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. This B&B is also very charming. We had a wonderful view of the Tuscan countryside and it even had its own sitting room - and this was a basic room. This was easily one of the nicest places we stayed on our entire 17 day trip.
We loved the suite with the brick arch between the kitchen and living area. It was quaint, large enough for us (my son and I) with room to spare. It was perfect for the town it is in and has great location to walk about. The owner and staff could not have been nicer and the food was fabulous!.
We liked pretty much everything: the food at the restaurant below, the people, and the room. It had outstanding views, and the place itself was beautiful, comfortable, well equipped. Airco was not needed because even though it was the middle of the summer, it is cool there during the night.
This family run B&B was Wonderful. The bed was comfortable, the food was incredible and the family takes you in like you are one of them.
Even with bum knees, I was happy to walk the stairs to the view you see in this photo, worth every step!.
A very nice and huge accommodation, a 2 floor apartment with kitchen and two bathrooms - made us feel like staying for a much longer visit than we did ! Very charming building with great location on piazza grande!.
we booked a room with external bathroom, but on arrival were given a whole apartment with jacuzzi bath etc!
Staff were friendly and helpful, and really enjoyed the breakfast.
Excellent accommodation! We had an apartment with jacuzzi, kitchen and
view on Duomo. Great food in their Osteria. View from terrace is
unforgettable! Recommend!.
The staff were wonderful and helpful. The location of the hotel and its restaurant were srikingly beautiful. The room was spacious and lovely.
the location was excellent, right in the town , opposite the piazza grande. we were able to enjoy an evening concert from our window!.
Service was good. They were waiting for us till 10 p.m. and cooked omlets in the morning. We bought some vine with pleasure there.
Wonderfull location and hosts who do all they can to ensure comfort.
Amazing rooms and decor
We loved everything!!!!.
Nice choice in Montepulciano. Right in the old town with access to wineries & restaurants.
location in the heart of montepulciano
excellent restaurant with fantastic panoramic terras.
right in the piazza, close to restaurants and all the action but very quiet.
Great 3 Br apartment. Great location. Attached Ristorante was good.
Friendly reception. Excellent dinner. Helpful advice.
Excellent staff, great apartment, very good location.
There was magnificent view, very beautiful place.
everything was fine.
The loation and food.
Location, the view from the room is fantastic, breakfast was good, good service.
Their wine is great. Contucci cantina on main square, Adamo the host, treats you very nice offering you to taste you their wines.
Not much at all actually, apart from having good wifi in the suite and not a bad location for exploring.
We had a 3 room apartment with 2 bathrooms. One bathroom only had a bath tub and the other had an ultracompact shower stall that was was almost impossible to move in. Wasn't bad but wasn't great either.
Couldn't get the TV to work (but to be fair also didn't ask for their help either).
One bedroom had no windows at all. We assumed that all the rooms would have windows but that was our assumption and we don't think they were misleading about that fact.
We initially found the hotel difficult to find, although had we checked
for driving directions, that might have been avoided. It's helpful
to realize how close it is to the Duomo, since this would help you plan
your route into town.
Nothing.
Only two things: the stairs that need climbing to get to the room, and the distance to the parking (~ 100 m). Both things annoying to get the luggage to the room.
Poor breakfast - but when we asked they made us Fried eggs , with means they care for there customers and are service minded ! No elivator and our apartment were on 3rd floor, no problem for us but mat be good to know for those with problams walking in stairs!.
Montepulciano is difficult to get to without a car so in the future we would rent a car to come here.
would have appreciated air conditioning because the weather was very hot, ....just a minor detail.
It could be good if there is a lift, but it wasn't to important for us.
Loved everything.
Tough to navigate to the hotel if driving - particularly if you have a larger car. Close, convenient parking though.
breakfast basic
parking difficult.
the food in the restaurant was only average, but cheap.
Bed was thin and not very comfortable, along with thin pillows.
No elevator - can be a challenge in case of a lot of luggage. But not an issue in our case :-).
The room was overpriced. No elevator, I had to carry the luggage to the third level.
If you do book this hotel make sure you enter into the restaurant under to check in. We had the suite at the top, it was overpriced and it under delivered. Have a shower at your own peril, it's horrible. I know it's coming into the start of the season but light bulbs were blown (a lot ) and windows are very small. If you need to stay in this town do so but other small towns have better restaurants and nicer hotels...one word, disappointing.
