I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Porta B&B. It is only a short walk away from Bologna metro station, and three stops from Termini. My room was pleasant, and there was even a fridge and a microwave in the room. Breakfast was provided at the bar around the corner; a coffee/cappuccino and a sweet pastry. Very friendly and helpful staff, the hotel is situated 10 minutes walk from the metro station Bologna.
The railway station Triburtina only 1 metro station (direct connection to the airport). Close to the hotel there is also a supermarket (Tuordi) when you can buy cheap. The breakfast is served in a bar near the hotel - you can choose any cake as well as cappucino or mineral water. Good value for your money.

Absolutely perfect. Located just around the corner from termini and beside metro stop it was very easy to move around the city.
The apartment was so clean and spacious. Our bedroom was perfect , nice and cool, nice touch was a mini fridge in our room. We didn't hear anyone else in the apartment even though we know other people were staying.

We are absolutely fascinated by the administrator Mabel, which prompted, helped and was always kind and smiling.
I like everything: clean rooms, air conditioning and fan, clean comfortable bathroom (even though it was separate from the room), breakfast with everything we need.
The hotel's location is also great - from the Termini station you can easily get to other parts of Rome, other cities and regions of Italy as well as to airports.

This was a great place to stay in Rome. Yes, it's not centrally located but after experiencing the hustle and bustle, it was wonderful to come back here. Rome takes a lot of energy out of you, its important to recharge. I couldn't imagine being relaxed in the center.

M just back from a trip to Italy and had stayed 3 nights at Casa Santa
Sofia. Biggest advantage and my reason for selecting this place was the
location. Its at a walking distance from Metro station Cavour, which is
the first stop after Termini on Blue line. So its very convenient to
reach the hotel from Airport. A bus from Airport to termini and a Metro
from Termini to Cavour and a small walk! All under 1.5 hours.

Joined to the convent, it is run by the Catechist Sisters of St Anne (there's mass every morning at 06:50, if you fancy joining them).
Simply furnished, this is a very basic hotel, and not one for a "romantic weekend" perhaps, but a perfect crash-pad for friends having a break in Rome.
