  Maria at the front desk was amazing!!! So cute and sweet, she doesn't speak English yet you have no trouble understanding her. The location is pretty great and the ac is a huge plus, anyone would be impressed by the shower and it's multiple massaging jets on the side, some people mention hearing people on the street: true, however I had room 1 clo... o que as pessoas dizem » sest to the front door and street and I barely noticed. If you want a true Venetian family owned hotel, go here. - It's hard to find decent prices in Venice for an ensuite room within walking distance from the train station. That said, Alloggi Sardegna was a very good option. Lady in reception couldn't speak english but we were able to understand her italian. She was very kind all times. Room and bathroom had good space. Breakfast was basic but with an excellent italian coffee -- served in our room every morning.

  although the guesthouse's entrance is located in a funny little alleyway, and you have to carry your bags up 2 flights of stairs yourself (no lift), our room was big and comfortable. We liked the location. Also, the guesthouse is located next to a vibey piazza where all the artsy locals hang out, so - This hotel was fairly close to everything. Hotel was close to a square with many restaurants and bars. Room was clean and air conditioned. Room was not fancy but was fine and the hotel was a good value. Staff did not speak English but were still nice.

  The two-bedroom suite was great. The rooms were large and nicely decorated. The bathroom had an additional room with a 2nd sink, so two adults could easily get cleaned up. The hotel is very convenient to St. Mark's Square just by crossing the Grand Canal via traghetto, and then walking a couple of blocks.   Perfect location for relaxing after sightseeing! Staying on this wonderful Yacht was like coming home... thank you Nelly for excellent service, cool drinks (very reasonable prices) and the fresh fruits!
