  Loved staying here - would go back again in a heartbeat. Andrea, the owner goes the extra mile. The reviews are true about this man - just lovely. A real authentic experience. Great location - far enough from the crowds, but walkable to everywhere. We loved Venice and staying here was a large part of the reason we loved it so much. It felt like a ... o que as pessoas dizem » home stay. We stayed in the family apartment - so much space with a rooftop terrace and a balcony over looking a canal. Beautiful. We have now been tr - The location is great, next to 2 vaporetto stops, Ca'dÓro and F.te Nove (you can get to the airport easily from the latter), and yet it is not in a crowded, touristy location. The place is very unusual - in the 2 days we were there, we saw an exhibition of photographs / textiles in the entrance (as part of the Venice Biennale), and we also witnessed a dance (tango!) in the main hall. Andrea is a good host and very helpful.

  Lovely big room with seperate dressing room area (please note only one room is this size) with great classical venetian furniture. Very quiet location which is easily reached from Fondamente Nove (stop for waterbus to airport and the Islands of Burano and Murano and also on route from bus/train station).   The staff there was attentive and extremely helpful. They carried our bags up the stairs (yes, stairs, no elevator), but what do you expect for a smaller and quiet little nest out in the heart of Venice. Wifi is free and its fast!!! There's a few floors but with only a few rooms, meaning its not loud; you can sleep in peace, and quiet.
