  Unfortunately we had problems with other booking so we did reservation in Residence the same evening we arrived. The reception has been already closed but manager came from home to organize check in.   This hotel is more like the size of a B&B, with 4 rooms and a lobby in the middle, as part of a larger building. The rooms are great. Very modern and large, with comfortable beds. This hotel is only 2-3 blocks from the coliseum, as well as the colosseo metro stop.   We really enjoyed our stay - sleek, modern facilities hidden in inside an old, regal-looking building. We really liked walking through the door into the cool stone entrance hall and stairwell after a long day of walking around in the heat. Also, great location! It was also such a treat to have a huge breakfast (including eggs and - The Best Pantheon was in such a great location, we had everything on our doorstep. It was beautifully designed and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was brilliant, we got too much and ended up bringing fruit and pastries out with us while we strolled around. It was a little bit more expensive than other places we had looked at but was well worth the extra money.   Great Location to start your trip visiting the Coliseum and the rest of Rome. Coliseum is only 15 mins by foot. Staff is extreamly warm and helpful giving me the map and recommending me where to eat, places to visit etc. Hotel is in a old building which makes u feel like u are actually living in someone’s house rather than in a hotel. Easy access ... o que as pessoas dizem » from Rome Termini using the Metro.( Hotel is near Manzoni Station). Would definately stay here again when i’m in Rome. - Location is really great, close to metro stations but for example Colosseum is only a 10 mins walk, the area is friendly so it is also worth walking. The building has recently been renovated, rooms are nice and look like on the pics. Special thanks to the host Gianluca who speaks English perfectly and provided lots of useful information, recommended cool restos and bars to visit. We absolutely enjoyed our being there.
