We had a great time at Residenza Gambrinus. Since there was the cycling
world championships during our stay, many streets in the city center
were blocked. The owner of the hotel met us outside the city center and
guided us directly to a central garage where we could leave our car

A perfect location to see Florence as it was in the centre for shopping and sightseeing. Extremely clean with modern fittings and nothing was too much trouble for the host . It was a bit tricky finding the location and bags have to be taken up I flight of stairs in order to reach the lift . The concierge is only there for limited hours.. But none of this worried us as the location and standard of facilities was well worth it .

walk to the Duomo in one direction and Ponte Vecchio in another. All

Everything about this place was wonderful. - Everything. The room was huge for the price, and in a perfect, central location. Giovanna might be the nicest person I have ever met in my life. Perfect location, right by the Uffizi museum. The Duomo is just less then 10 minutes away on foot, amongst other popular museums and local sights. Set in a beautiful square, where you can get a beautiful view of the city hall tower from the apartment. The shopping belt surrounds the apartment, together with many wonderful restaurants.
