The metro station is 5 minutes away, you have a bus station very close also and if you walk about 10 minutes you will see the Coliseum and then you can walk around everywhere to see the beautiful places in Rome.   This hotel was perfect for our stay of 5 nights. The room was spacious and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was a bother to them. Simona on the reception was especially friendly and helped us to find places. She also spent time chatting to us. Stephano was particularly helpful. Simona the waitress at breakfast was won - We spent 4 nights in Rome and Hotel de Teatro became our home-away-from home. Great location near Piazza Navona and Campo di Fieri. Paulo at the front desk was very helpful and spoke impeccable English although I tried some Italien. The breakfast was delicious, our room comfortable and spacious and very clean.

  Nice owner, Claudio will try his best for you to feel most comfortable. The place is located between the Roma Termini and Colosseum, so location is great! Monti area is very nice, many hip places to spend the evenings.. For the room, very clean and comfortable. We stayed at the double-bed room, it has a separate but private bathroom. He will also help you wit - The owner of the Resort Cavour B&B was very kind and helpful. He waited for us when our plane arrived to Rome quite late in the Friday evening 8th of March and made a reservation to one of his favorite restaurants for us the first night. He got us breakfast tickets for cafe downnstairs so we were free from timetables. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

  Guilia Townhouse is a great place to stay when visiting Rome. It is literally right in the middle of everything. We walked everywhere and appreciated how easy it was to cross the river and dine in The Travestere neighborhood in the evenings. The townhouse itself is beautiful and restful. The bath and shower were modern and spotless. The breakfast was delic - A very personal hotel with "family feeling". Excellent location; perfect to be able to walk to all sights in the day and then just cross the bridge to have dinner in Trastevere in the evening. Very friendly people that were both very welcoming, helpful and keen to make sure we had a nice stay. One thing we really appreciated who travelled in December is also the heating and comfort of the place. I've been staying in many places in Italy where it's been cold inside in that time of the year.   A very nice room, kind of romantic :).( italian style ) If you looking for something special more then hotel.. nice but not luxury.. this is the right place. and I realy do recommend that one. - Ideal location!!! Rather small but very clean rooms. Staff is very helpful! Certainly recommend.

All of Gianluca's recommendations on sightseeing and restaurants were spot on.
