We stayed only for 2 nights but we had the chance to take part to a traditional Ischian evening - a very relaxing and happy atmosphere. Free shuttle bus to the beach. Although we booked a room without seaview, we were upgraded and got one of the best rooms in the hotel, due to low season, with a large roof-terrace (room nr. 404) overlooking the harbour and sea (like rooms 401-403). The perfect place for relax - really recommend to all! from the hotel to the Ischia porto is walk not more than 15 minutes: there are many nice restaurants, interesting places to walk. (ticket costs 10 euros per person) A taxi from the hotel to the port costs 12 euros (without luggage) - absolutely beautiful with 10 thermal pools and ocean swimming. we upgraded to sea view room and were given a one room cottage with lawn and patio table. I did hydro therapy for six days - a wonderful experience just floating in pool and an outstanding physical therapist. I think the upgraded rooms were much nicer but 40E more per night. Really miss Ichica relaxing and beautiful
