Colico lies 25 km. north of Menaggio. Casa Ampelio is a large detached villa, in a nice and peaceful district, situated just above Colico, in where you will occupy the entire ground floor (140 m) and the owner the 1st floor. The interior is of a good standard and partially rustic, partially modern. The garden with parking space is communal, but yet that big that you will still have your privacy. Nice garden furniture and a childrens swimming pool enable you to have a lovely stay here and enjoy the view at the lake and the mountains. The hospitable female owner owns a wine business and therefore you will find a welcome package and several bottles of wine on the kitchen table at arrival. An ideal spot to relax and nicely go out, because Colic has a boulevard with various terraces and two lidos with beach, sunbathing meadow, bar-restaurant and the rental of water sports equipments. Due to the central location and the good car-boat- and train connections also many excursion possibilities.
