We enjoyed our stay here very much! The owners are lovely people, friendly and thoughtful. The rooms are clean, light and equipped with anything you would need...shampoo, bottled water, even sun umbrellas.
The fridge is every day filled with fruit, juices and yogurt which can be eaten all day long.
The location is ideal, right next to the old city walls. Opposite this B&B you can park for free.

Owner: Claudio was friendly and helpful. He provided us with directions and cost effective ways on how to get to various parts of the city.
Breakfast: If you want good coffee, go nowhere else and its free! The kitchen is free to use and breakfast is eaten at your leisure. The breakfast was simple but fresh and filling.

From the moment we arrived the host, Claudio, made me and my friend feel very welcome. He was extremely helpful and kind. There was a delicious bottle of wine waiting for us in the bedroom, and a fabulous chocolate banana cake sending gorgeous aromas through the house another evening! I felt completely at home in Calciufetta. The breakfast was perfect, plenty of selection and the best coffee I have had in a B&B ever. I will definitely stay there again if I ever go back to Alghero.

Considering the position and the price, you will not find anything better in Alghero. It's barely at 10-15 minutes of slow walking from the historical city center, 10 minutes from the sea. The accomodation was very spacious, bed very comfortable and kept extremely clean. It has a home from home feeling and you can relax. It is close to the old town of Alghero but also close to the promenade and easy to get to buses for exploring. The landlady Rita is the most wonderful, friendly, caring person, and made our trip very enjoyable.

- Possibillity to rent bikes, is a good way to explore the surroundings.
- Very friendly and warm owners, Antonio and Gavina. Gavina made the breakfast and gave us advice for things to do (she told us for example that there was a market in town).

made us feel like one of the family. Genuinely lovely people who despite
speaking little english, went above and beyond to satisfy our needs and
ensure a great stay. The location of the place was great, 5 mins to the
beach, 10 mins to Old town and just around the corner from several
supermarkets. Perfectly clean with ample space in the double room we

Stafano is a very helpfull owner of the BB Alghero republic - always willing to share with you tips & tricks what to see and do in Alghero & surrounding.
In fact, BB Alghero Republic is a flat with 2 rooms for rent and 1 room where the landlord lives, what gives you a warm feeling of hospitability.
With the bargain price we have got it's a great place to stay in Alghero.

Location is perfect. 3 min from the seaside and 5min from the city center . Very clean accommodation comfy beds and in the house you can find everything that you want. The host is very friendly and he was kind enough to pick us up from the airport in the middle of the night .. if you go there take the bikes which are for free, they are incredibly funny :)
